These terms govern purchases made on finisterra.store. By completing an order, the customer accepts them. Finisterra products are sold under an agreement with Finisterra S.A., which produces them in Sagres.

Products and prices

The products are tinned foodstuffs. Photographs represent the product; packaging may show small differences between batches. Prices are in euros and include VAT at the applicable rate. Shipping costs are shown before you complete the purchase and are set out in the shipping policy.

Orders and payment

An order is complete when payment is confirmed and we send the confirmation email. The available payment methods are those shown at checkout. If a product becomes unavailable after the order, we will let you know and refund the amount paid for it.

Delivery

We ship to Portugal, including the islands, and to the European Union countries listed in the shipping policy, which describes costs, times and what to do if an order arrives damaged.

Right of withdrawal

Consumers may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receipt, without giving a reason, under Portuguese Decree-Law 24/2014 (which transposes Directive 2011/83/EU). Because the tins are sealed foodstuffs, they can only be returned unopened and in the condition in which they were delivered; an opened tin cannot be returned for hygiene and health-protection reasons (article 17(1)(e) of the same law). The procedure and the model withdrawal form are in the refund policy.

Legal guarantee of conformity

Products must conform to the contract, under Decree-Law 84/2021. If you receive a damaged, defective or expired product, email us with the order number and photographs; we will replace the product or refund it, and return costs are on us.

Complaints and dispute resolution

In the event of a dispute, consumers may turn to an alternative dispute resolution body: CNIACC – Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo (cniacc.pt) or CACRC – Centro de Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo da Região de Coimbra, Av. Fernão de Magalhães 240, 1.º, 3000-172 Coimbra, geral@cacrc.pt, +351 239 821 690 (cacrc.pt). The full list of bodies is at consumidor.gov.pt. You may also use the European online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. The Portuguese electronic complaints book is at livroreclamacoes.pt.

Personal data

The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy.

Applicable law

Portuguese law applies, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the customer's country of residence. Disputes not settled by agreement or arbitration fall to the Portuguese courts, unless a mandatory legal rule provides otherwise.
