Large Organic Mussels, Hand Packed

The largest size in the range: 8 to 14 mussels per tin, hand packed, placed one by one. Big meat, eaten just as it comes out of the tin, on a fork or on bread. Organic mussels raised in the open sea off Sagres and preserved in nothing but the broth from the steam cooking, with no sauces and no additives.

How to serve: cold, with a squeeze of lemon.

Ingredients and storage

Ingredients: mussel (mytilus galloprovincialis), water (cooking broth). No oil, no preservatives, and no flavorings.

Allergens: contains molluscs.

Origin: FAO 27.9.a, Northeast Atlantic.

Weight: 120 g net weight, 80 g drained. Per drained tin: 361 kJ / 86 kcal, 2 g of fat of which 0.6 g saturated, less than 0.5 g of carbohydrate, 17 g of protein, and 0.9 g of salt.

Storage: store in a cool, dry place, away from light. Once opened, keep refrigerated in a closed container and eat within 24 hours.
